Join ASI On July 8 To Honor And Celebrate Winners Of The 2021 Counselor Awards

Register to join the online ceremony honoring outstanding individuals and companies

TREVOSE, PA – June 11, 2021 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today invites members of the promotional products industry to honor and celebrate the recipients of the 2021 Counselor® Awards during an online ceremony taking place at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 8. The annual awards recognize the industry’s outstanding individuals and companies.

The GoTo Webinar will be hosted by Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. The ceremony will include highlight videos of the honorees, along with their acceptance speeches, and the annual unveiling of the Top 40 Distributor and Top 40 Supplier rankings – the largest companies in the promotional products industry based on 2020 revenue.

“As we look ahead to promo’s next chapter, it’s a privilege to bring everyone together to recognize the organizations and people who propelled our industry forward during perhaps the toughest year in our history,” said Andrews. “The astonishing amount of hard work, enterprise and innovation deserves to be acknowledged with the most coveted awards in the promotional products industry.”

The 2021 Counselor Awards, which are nominated by industry peers and chosen by an in-house committee, will honor recipients of:

  • Person of the Year
  • International Persons of the Year
  • Supplier and Distributor Entrepreneurs of the Year
  • Supplier and Distributor Family Businesses of the Year
  • Technology Executive of the Year
  • Woman of Distinction
  • Bess Cohn Humanitarian Award
  • Lifetime Achievement Award

Each honoree will be profiled in the July print and online versions of the Counselor State of the Industry (SOI) issue. Using data from the magazine’s annual SOI survey, Counselor will provide coverage and analysis of the issues that matter most to the promo market.

While the 2021 Counselor Awards, typically held during ASI’s annual Chicago trade show, remains virtual this year, registration is open for the in-person ASI Show Chicago, Tuesday, July 13 (education) through Thursday, July 15 (two exhibit days), at the McCormick Place Convention Center. Hundreds of exhibitors are already committed to the promotional industry’s first large-scale in-person show to take place in over a year.
