Help the promo products industry break a record in ESP searches
TREVOSE, PA – February 10, 2016 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) is asking distributors throughout the $22.2 billion promotional products industry to help break an industry record for searches in ESP® by searching for products today, February 10.
ASI hopes to shatter the previous record, set on February 10, 2015, when ESP recorded the highest search volume in the industry’s largest product database, with 161,903 searches conducted on a single day. “Have a little fun today by logging on to ESP to help us smash the all-time record for searches,” said Timothy M. Andrews, ASI’s president and chief executive officer.
Each year, 32,000 distributor users conduct over 30 million searches in ESP. ASI showcased all remarkable search stats in its “ESP: Year in Review” video highlighting personal connections between users and products and historic milestones like the Pope’s U.S. visit and beloved pastimes like football.
The video takes note of landmark moments like the first distributor to search for selfie sticks and the year’s No. 1 product viewed.
ASI will showcase the “ESP: Year in Review” video at ASI Show® Dallas, which runs through Thursday, February 11 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, featuring 467 exhibitors and approximately 3,600 attendees (with 75 suppliers new this year).
