“The Counselor Power 50 list highlights the movers and shakers in the ad specialty industry, the ones who create the buzz, drive the industry and push the business boundaries,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. “This year, 4Imprint’s president and CEO Kevin Lyons-Tarr jumped from No. 11 to the top spot for being a cutting-edge leader in the emerging world of ad specialty e-commerce. According to his peers, he wields considerable power over the industry that extends well beyond the financial bottom line.”
The list also contains seven newcomers:
The ranking is determined by a panel of editorial experts at the award-winning Counselor magazine. Using last year’s list as a starting point, the panel surveyed the industry at-large and each of the previous Power 50, asking them to rate whether each person has gained or lost influence over the past year, and to nominate new candidates. The panel also carefully weighed nominees’ achievements and revenue throughout the year and the health of their companies.
The ASI Power Summit is an exclusive event attended by more than 200 executives and business leaders from around the globe who discuss vital issues, identify best practices and determine ways in which the ad specialty industry can productively move forward.
