Registration for Texas promo products trade show trending way up
TREVOSE, PA – January 31, 2019 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced registration for its inaugural Fort Worth trade show is up by 24% over its last Southwest show, with distributors ready for First Lady Laura Bush, her daughter and Today Show correspondent Jenna Hager, Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl champ Roger Staubach and continuous show floor activities like a trick roper, photo op with a Texas longhorn and whiskey tasting, proving that everything really is bigger in Texas.
The ASI Show® is hosting the annual event Monday, Feb. 4 through Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. ASI expects 425 exhibitors (up 6% and including 56 new to the Texas show this year) and approximately 4,000 distributors. Distributors can see the latest promotional products during two exhibit days, attend a full day of education, meet wholesale suppliers, talk with other distributors and network with the industry’s best and brightest at special events like the ASI Show Bash at Billy Bob’s Texas on Tuesday night, featuring a full bar, buffet, live music, armadillo racing, line dancing and a bull riding show.
“We’re thrilled that our very first show in Fort Worth is attracting so much interest,” said Rita Ugianskis-Fishman, senior vice president and general manager of ASI Show. “I’m certain suppliers and distributors will find that Fort Worth is a terrific, walkable destination city, loaded with great restaurants and things to do. It’s faster and easier to get there from two great airports and the networking will be the best ever since we’re the only show in a gorgeous downtown convention center, which means everyone you meet will be attending, exhibiting or working the show.”
Plus, 14 distributor companies chose Fort Worth to hold meetings, 12 of which are top 100 companies like American Solutions for Business (ASB), which is bringing 400 sales associates to the show, HALO Branded Solutions, Proforma, Taylor Communications, Geiger, AIA Corporation, iPROMOTEu, Kaeser & Blair, Safeguard and more.
A highlight of the show is a special appearance Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. by Laura Bush and her daughter Jenna, who will have a one-hour conversation on stage with ASI president and CEO Timothy M. Andrews. In addition, Tuesday morning attendees can enjoy a motivational breakfast with Roger “The Dodger” Staubach. In addition to an inspiring presentation, the Cowboys great will give the audience the chance to catch an autographed football.
Also at the show, suppliers can attend demos of ASI’s latest products, including ASI’s next “it” ESP feature, ESP Supplier Stores. The stores are a one-stop shop that offer distributors a 360-degree view of supplier brands through videos, “About Us” sections, top products, ratings and more, all aggregated in one spot for easy viewing. Demos take place on both exhibit days at Booth No. 2145.
ASI will also demonstrate the next generation of Company Stores, along with its new ESP® Orders dashboard. Demos take place on both exhibit days at Booth No. 1037.
Registration is now open for ASI Chicago, taking place Tuesday, July 9, through Thursday, July 11, at the McCormick Place convention center, featuring TEDx speaker Luke Williams.
