Wearables® also named finalist for Magazine of the Year; Counselor® named finalist for Best Cross-Platform Package of the Year
TREVOSE, PA – July 28, 2016 –The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced that its magazines won 10 more national awards, as well as finalist honors as magazine of the year for Wearables and best cross-platform package of the year for Counselor®, from the ASBPE, one of the nation’s largest and most competitive business publication competitions.
Plus, ASI Senior Editor Theresa Hegel recently took second place for two features, “Can This Shop Be Saved?” and “Meaningful Work” in the specialty business category of the 2016 National Federation of Press Women Communications contest.
The ASBPE honors, which recognize winners in digital and print categories covering both editorial and graphic design, were presented at its 38th annual Azbee Awards of Excellence in St. Petersburg, FL. ASBPE, which represents 600 journalists for B2B trade publications, was originally known as the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
This year, 1,150 entries were submitted, with ASI magazines competing alongside publications likeComputerworld and The American Lawyer.
In addition to national wins, ASI magazines won 17 ASBPE regional awards in the competitive Mid-Atlantic region.
