TREVOSE, PA – March 5, 2007 – Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI), the largest media organization serving the advertising specialty industry, announced today it recruited Deborah White as director of supplier marketing.
In this position, Deborah will lead ASI’s marketing efforts to educate ASI suppliers about how to use advertising to grow their businesses and promote their products. White will manage the advertising opportunities available in ASI’s seven market-focused magazines and 12 end-buyer catalogs, as well as web tools, electronic communications, media kits and trade show events.
“Deborah White brings over 20 years of experience working in the apparel industry, and she has spent most of her career working in publishing,” said Susanne Curry, Vice President of Marketing for ASI. “She will help ASI members make the most of their marketing efforts and I look forward to her creativity and expertise in enhancing and providing new opportunities for suppliers to gain more exposure to distributors and end-buyers.”

Deborah comes to ASI from VNU Business Media in Atlanta, GA, where she held the position of marketing services manager for its trade magazines, educational supplements, newsletters, and web-based products in the decorated apparel industry.
Deborah has previously worked for the following publishing companies: Lindquist Publications, Macmillan, Gralla and Miller Freeman.
A New Jersey native, Deborah has her B.A. degree in English and Marketing Communications from Montclair State.
