ASI’s Counselor Magazine Wins Two National Awards for Journalism Excellence

Stitches, Wearables, SGR and Counselor magazines also score
seven honorable mentions

   

TREVOSE, PA – December  16, 2014 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced Counselor® magazine won two national awards for its special State of the Industry issue and Best Places to Work Road Tour cover story in the largest and most inclusive awards competition in media publishing.       

In addition, ASI’s Stitches® , Wearables® , SGR™ and Counselor magazines also won a total of seven honorable mentions in the coveted 2014 Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards competition. The annual awards program spans all corners of the magazine publishing industry and recognizes the very best in editorial and design.             

Counselor magazine, edited by Andy Cohen, competed against prestigious publications like Advertising Age and Architectural Record. The annual awards competition attracts publications like Forbes, Harvard Business Review and People.             

A panel of over 300 judges narrowed more than 2,800 entries to a list of 800 finalists. Winners and honorable mentions were honored at an awards ceremony in New York City December 11.
